Alo in the community
Alo was a proud sponsor of the 2007 Pat Tillman Run this April, continuing its support of local charities.
Pat Tillman was a starting safety for the Arizona Cardinals and US Army soldier assigned to the second battalion of the
75th Ranger Regiment. He was on his second tour of duty in the middle-East when he was killed on April 22, 2004.
Pat Tillman's friends and family created Pat's Run as a way to celebrate Pat's passionate legacy while raising awareness
and funding for the Pat Tillman Foundation. The Foundation was created following his death in April 2004. Its goal and mission
is to carry forward Pat's legacy by inspiring people to make positive changes in themselves and in the world around them."
There are two annual Pat Tillman Runs each year; one in Tempe, AZ, where Tillman attended Arizona State University, and one
in his hometown San Jose, CA. Perry Ettinger, friend and former trainer of Tillman, conceptualized the event. He wanted
it to be "something physical, outdoors, and open to all saying, 'With Pat's Run, people are motivated to exercise and do
something positive for themselves, while honoring Pat's memory, sharing their stories and ultimately being an inspiration to
others.'"
Alo's men's and women's long sleeve tees (styles M3002 & W3001) were the official tees for the San Jose race and the men's
short sleeve color block tee (M1004) was the official Tempe race shirt, with proceeds benefiting the Foundation. Learn more about

Bella gets involved in PPAI
We're excited to have one of our own volunteering on the PPAI Advisory Board. As a board member for the
Professional Development, Marketing Information & Research Committee and the Public Relations Committee, we will
play a key role in helping PPAI better understand the needs and wants of the membership. Advisory councils are
groups of industry professionals who share their views on topics of interest to the committees. Both Bella and PPAI
members nationwide will benefit from this new partnership. PPAI membership offers many advantages to distributors,
including Kinko's discounts, healthcare solutions and a vast support network. For information on membership
