T-shirts on display as a more than just a fashion staple
The Museum of Design in Atlanta (MODA) recently showcased T-shirts as art.
An eclectic group of designers selected by Laura Moody, MODA director of communications,
and co-curator Sarah Phillips Collins were sent t-shirts as canvases for their creations.
The exhibit, which featured everything from screen-printed to hand stitched and embroidered pieces,
was a success and is set to become a traveling show that could come to a city near you.
To see some of the works and perhaps become inspired yourself, visit

Looking to boost your new year with higher sales?
In this month's (new and improved!!) edition of the Counselor, Matt Histand suggests a few ideas.
It's common knowledge that apparel sales make up the highest percentage of promotional sales -
and it's true that of those, shirts are the best sellers - but if you're looking to really make an impact, you'll need to look beyond the t-shirt.
Creative packaging, children's apparel and pants (yes, pants!) are just
some of Histand's suggestions (password required for this ASI article).
Look no farther than www.bella.com for a wide selection of children's apparel, pants and other bottoms.
And if you're looking for fun packaging ideas, the sky's the limit.
Bella is a pioneer in this department,
having packaged our promotional shirts in everything from take-out food boxes and coffee bean bags to flower pots and boxes.
Creative presentation can really make a difference with that challenging customer you might have!

Cooler temperatures are in the air and soft, cool earth tones are in fashion.
Don't throw away your brights, but you should definitely take note of the beautiful new additions to Bella's color palette,
including granite, moss green and seafoam blue.
Layer these shirts with a sweater & pair of jeans or dress them up with some wool dress pants - you can't go wrong!
